With more than 35 years of experience in the acquisition, entitlement, and development of residential and mixed-use communities, Peggy Tabas has a long history of success in residential real estate. During her career, she has acquired more than $250 million worth of real estate, managed the planning and development of more than 20,000 acres of land in both California and Florida, and built more than 1,500 homes while employed by both public and privately-owned home building and development companies. 


Ms. Tabas is managing member of real estate venture OC Urban Ventures, formed in 2016 to acquire, entitle, and develop mixed-use urban infill properties in Orange County, California.  In 2018, Ms. Tabas partnered with The Fait Group, a privately-owned real estate equity investor, to acquire and redevelop 3.34 acres of property on the corner of Slater Avenue and San Mateo Street in Fountain Valley. The partnership, Slater Investments, LLC intends to develop a mixed-use community consisting of apartment homes and restaurants.

Ken Fait, a member in Slater Investments, LLC, is also a partner in diversified real estate investment and development company, the Fait Group. For more than 40 years, The Fait Group has been involved in the development and ownership of retail, office, industrial, mobile home parks, and residential properties throughout Southern California, Arizona, and New Mexico.

The Fait Group has developed approximately 500,000 square feet of neighborhood retail; 600,000 square feet of suburban office; 400,000 square feet of multi-tenant industrial; and in-fill residential housing.  The group currently manages more than 850,000 square feet of real estate and maintains a major customer relationship with Wells Fargo bank that affords ample lines of credit.

In 2018, Mr. Fait partnered with Peggy Tabas and OC Urban Ventures to acquire and redevelop the property on the corner of Slater Avenue and San Mateo Street in Fountain Valley. The new partnership, Slater Investments, LLC, intends to develop a mixed-use community on this 3.34-acre parcel of land with luxury apartment homes and restaurants.
